Your District Superintendent wants to invest more intentionally in the pastors of this district and the churches they lead. Before that investment can be targeted well, the district needs an honest, current picture of where pastors actually are, personally, spiritually, and in leadership.
The District Health Snapshot is how that picture gets built. Not to rank pastors. Not to decide who is ready to lead and who isn’t. To find out, church by church, what kind of support and resourcing would actually help.
Why the Questions Get Personal
The name might make this sound like a survey about programs, budgets, or attendance numbers. It isn’t. A district is only as healthy as the pastors leading its churches, so understanding district health means understanding pastor health first.
That’s why some of these questions will ask about things you don’t usually put in writing: how you’re really doing, what’s resourcing you right now, where you’re stretched thin, what’s waiting on the other side of your calling. That’s intentional. Your district can only offer support that fits your reality if you’re willing to describe the reality.
Who Sees Your Answers
Your individual answers are private. They go directly to Accelerated Church Solutions. Not to your District Superintendent. Not to a public database. Not to anyone else in your district.
Your District Superintendent only ever sees trends across the whole district, never your name attached to an answer.
At the very end, you’ll be asked directly whether you’d like your own results shared with your District Superintendent. That choice is entirely yours to make, and saying no costs you nothing.
What to Expect
The Snapshot takes about 15–20 minutes and is written for the lead pastor of each church. It starts with a few quick background questions, then moves through nine short sections:
